Angry Water in the intake

So I got home from FL and heard it had rained alot and I didn't think much of it. Then my brother told me my car was runnig funny. He said the rpms would go up and down and sometimes all the way to the bottom. He said there were no lights on. I go out and turn on my car. It makes a funny nosie and the CEL is on. I open the hood and the intake is full of water. I take it apart and dump it out and everything. It runs fine to me but the CEL is still on. Will it turn off on it's on. I really don't want to look it any longer.

some CEL will not delete on its own.

Just unplug the battery, connect it back. Gone

Chances are your MAF didn't like the water, try cleaning it.

I think rotaries dont hydrolock easily but dont quote me on this.

If stock intake find the leak.
If after market get a sock for the CAI.
