Hello everyone,

I am having extraordinary difficulty lining up the upper intake manifold, specifically the plastic section which has the throttle body attached,
so I can screw all of the bolts
in properly. The side of the manifold which is nearest to the back of the engine bay seems to be having issues lining up perfectly it seems.

Does anyone have tips on how to realign the manifold. I have taken it off once before and don't remember it being so difficult to reinstall.

 

Just take a break and check everything. It should line up and bolt up no problem.

 

Check to make sure you aren't pinching a coolant hose under the throttle body. That's usually the case when the uim doesn't line up. Something is under there causing the misalignment.
