Unresponsive throttel and jerking
today for the first time my RX-8 started to jerk while i was driving down the hwy shortly after i pulled over and i was vibrating slower and harder than usual and became almost completely unresponsive to me pressing the gas pedal i parked it for a while checked the oil it was fine then started it back up checked the transmission fluid it was fine then i went to the tail pipe and the smell was very rich and the was water dripping out on to the ground can some one please give me some advise on whta could be wrong.

I might have figured out the problem. I think I got some bad gasoline from a store that is not a qt or big place. This didnt happen until I got gas there and other things online are also making it seem like this could be the problem.

Does sound like bad gas - if you get similar problems again, you may have to clean the 'sock' filter in the gastank, there's a DIY. Bad gas is usually water/rust/slime and plugs the pre-filter up.
Just make sure the gas is below 1/3rd before you try to take the lid off the fuel pump!
