Unable to remove 3 of 4 bolts on left side of rear strut tower
I am trying to install a rear strut tower bar and am unable to remove 3 of the 4 bolts on the left side. I am using a run of the mill ratchet and the proper sized bits, but they won't budge.
It's hard to get enough leverage, but one of them is so stubborn that I'm actually starting to strip the outside of the bolt!
My first thought is to just buy a big ******* torque wrench... any other thoughts/alternatives/suggestions?

Try dousing it with WD40 and let it sit for a few hours. Put your wrench back on it and slightly start tapping it with a mini-sledge.

If the head is stripped get a drummel with a metal cutter attachment and cut a small straight grove just enough to fit a flathead screwdriver in it. Tap it with a mini-slege. This has always worked for me. If the head breaks, you will have to drill it out, start small and work your way up until you can start tapping the rest of it out. Good luck.
