About your point regarding engine replacements: How many miles on the 04? Still running the original factory powerplant I assume? What dealer do you work with normally? Have you had a compression test documented on the vehicle yet?

If no compression figures established yet in a test by a reputable service provider, I would stongly suggest dropping a couple of C notes on same. You will be well served by periodically tracking this data, especially as you start adding additional performance items on your ride.
