Exclamation troubled 04 rx8

oky so here is the story..
I been having my 8 for 3 years now, it have 72,000 miles on it, and running royal purple oil, well maintianed. i did a stupid mistake and moved the car in the garage without warming it up, which i never do but i was in a hurry.. it was about 45 degrees. next day car wont start so i thought i flood the motor. i did my research and tried all the methods for de-flooding it. i did the fuel fuse method and also tried to push the car and pop the clutch method. i went ahead and bought new spark plugs and got the battary checked. still no luck.. my coils are about 1 year old, 25,000 miles ago, and my altnator is about 6 month old. it seems like it want to crank over so the starter is working but no luck. im confused on what to check or do anymore..
the only problem i got with it is that the steering wheel shakes when its cold but i dont think that have to do with it not starting. your help is greatly appreciated.

25k miles in one year could be quite a bit for the oem coils. They usually tend to last 25-30k miles. I would try testing them https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-testing-all-rx-8-coils-gm-ls2-yukon-coils-sparkplug-wires-222641/
Do you have the upgraded starter? How old is your battery?

You and another guy posted a problem about flooding in the same minute.

I'm just quoting what I typed over there. Some of this might not totally apply to you.

However, as with any flooding issues, there is an underlying problem of WHY it flooded. Flooding always occurs when there is too much fuel in the engine for it to ignite. Either A) there is actually too much fuel, which could only be a leaky injector, or B) there is a normal amount of fuel injected on the start attempt, but the ignition isn't strong enough to ignite it. If the latter is the problem, it is always plugs, wires, coils, a weak battery or a weak starter.

If you don't fix the underlying reason why it flooded, then it's just going to keep flooding.

There is also technically the possibility that the compression in the engine is too low to get adequate compression of the mixture to have it light off strongly enough, but this usually doesn't cause a flood, since it IS igniting the fuel in there, not just building it up.

Literally, if this is a simple flood, it will cost you far far less to get it towed out of the dealer and back home and just ask for help from locals here on the boards (no location noted of where you are?)

OEM Coils, plugs, and wires can all be had from Advance Auto Parts (yes, all OEM) for about $200. Replacing them all yourself is really easy. Unsure? see if there are any locals here to help you. Helps build your confidence anyway. Starter, if it's that, is ~$350 from Mazmart new, and is 2 clips and 2 bolts on the side of the transmission, ridiculously easy to reach if you have the driver's side of the car up on jacks. Battery should be obvious.

Dealers will RAPE you on the charges for these. As I am sure you are finding out. Even the friendly ones.

Deflooding. Well, there are lots of methods. Mazda's official method of holding the pedal to the flood while cranking several times before trying to start, pulling the e-shaft sensor and fuel pump fuse while cranking, pull starting it, etc... All totally viable. Another car there with jumper cables is just about critical for all of them, or the fast weakening battery will just keep perpetuating the flooding.

sorry i meant 15k on coils, and battery is about 6 month old. but i dont know how old the starter is, it cranks but no start, would that mean its good?
i did the de-flood method, the one thats posted in the DIY section and the mazda's official method. no luck. i guess all is left is testing the low compression test, its just weird that it would go without any acting up

The fuel fuse method will take you somewhere from 30min to few hours before the car starts up.
That's if you know EXACTLY what you are doing, if not, it might not even start up.

..

Over exaggeration.

My first flooding couldn't deflood with the pedal method, switched to the fuse method and had it started in 15 minutes.

Thanks for everyone's help, I got it running, I got a 2-3 feet vacuum hose hooked up to the intake ports one at a time and the other side to a container filled with oil, I cranked the engine few times to suck in 1/10 of a quart of oil. Then I pulled the spark plugs out n tired to crank it to blow all the residual fuel out.. (it smoked a little from the spark plug holes) then I put it all back togther (fuel fuse back in also) n crank it, after few time it finally started back up!! I was so glad. I got all this info from all data.
