No this is not a fat joke, but seriously when i have people in the back seat(s) of my car and i go over little bumps in the road, i hear a loud BANG coming from the rear. When people get in the back the car is significantly lower, atleast almost an inch. Does this happen to anyone else?


If not, wtf is up with my suspension >.>

Thats how my car is, but im also lowered on TEIN S-Techs so im sure its just bottoming out. I hate people in my backseat or even heavy people in my passenger seat, I can feel their weight making a difference in the car haha. I dont let anyone in my backseat now lol.

 

the stock shocks are junk, even when they are new. up grade your shocks if you want to haul ***...

yep its an 04, i guess the shocks are bottoming out.
Will Koni yellows make a big difference?

 

Koni yellows are definetely one of the best aftermarket shocks out there.

My stock shocks are fine, no sag at all.

 

I use Koni yellow myself and it is a very out standing shocks but the rear shocks is not easy to change setting on stiffness, infect every time you want to set the shocks stiffness, you have to remove it. so it is not a dual purpose shocks and most of the aftermarket springs is less then 300 lbs so there is no need to use koni, unless you want to take it to the track. if you want a dual purpose shocks use D spec, if you want the good shock for track and you back could take some punishment use Koni........

 

im not taking it to the track, its a daily use car that im modifying for personal enjoyment haha, im going to be putting a set of Tein's on soon, i just dont want to keep bottoming out shocks, will the teins make it better or worse?

 

Why? Leave it stock.... if you want comfort and to have passengers nothing better than stock. Mods make it tighter and or lower.

 

Yeah tein s-techs lower it a lot. That is the drop on my sig with stock shocks. I'm looking at koni for shocks or tokico d-spec, they have adjuster cables u can buy for rear to adjust dampening with ease.

 

yeah just need to find a set now.

 

ya I had the same issue on my 04, changed to RB springs and D-specs and it's sooo much better and hasn't completely compromised the ride.
