Time for a reman?

Well gentlemen I think her time has come, maybe not however,*heh.
A little background so you know what I am working with...

New plugs and wires as of 5000 miles ago.
Have not replaced coils (ordering them today actually).
Catless.
0w40Mobil1 only.
6oz of premix w/ 91 shell only.
89800 miles as of today.
Racing beat tune.

I think my engine is just done, has had lower compression for the better part of a year, yet no hard starts or any issues related to low compression.

Yet yesterday heading home I was at a stop light when the car randomly bogged out for the first time. I tried to turn it on and it just cranked and cranked and sort of turned on, it was at 300ish RPMs and would not rev up past 1000 for 20-30 seconds (it seemed like it blew something out the exhaust as all of a sudden it shot back to life) drove to the next light and it stalled again, did the same starting issue then as I was driving to pull over in a parking lot it seemed completely normal. No rpm issues no stalling no check engine light. I turned it off let it sit a minute as I checked all the fluids, it seemed fine other than missing 1/5th of a qt(I topped her off that morning and drove maybe 20 miles and my oil leak is just a few drops in the morning unless I push it hard lol then it soaks the header and smokes and drips a little puddle. But not a lot) but yea missing that much oil in 20 miles was weird. Same with the stalling.
Yet it hasn't happened since and I can't get it to repeat the issue.

It was about 80 outside car was at 180f water temp.

Any ideas?

A question of curiosity mostly, do you have a functioning OMP?

Hmmm.. I do believe so, but I did replace the gasket to fix an oil leak.. I got no CEL after the repair, and watched some air bubbles travel through the piping. It has not happened again, I would like to report.
I thought if there was any issue with the OMP, by the 12th drive cycle the vehicle would run a scan to see if there were any issues and throw a CEL, if found that is.

I just took note that you premix your fuel and the amount. I am assuming that the oil is synthetic that you are running, given the synthetic product is Mobil 1. Just trying to draw my own conclusions to your possible failure. I would have probably added another 2 to 4 ounces of premix to the fuel on fuel up. What brand of premix are you using? How long have you had the vehicle? I would have changed the entire ignition system when I got the car.

If it turns out your motor is fine, I would look into getting that oil leak fixed as well. If your having to top off oil everyday because of a leak, obviously this can not be good. Could be a possible fire hazard if it's leaking onto the exhaust.

I do not have to fill it up every day, the leak is just a few drops and as of now it has been fixed, the leaking was apparently residual oil warming up and dripping off. I am using Idesimu (forgot how to spell it). It has yet to happen since, its been about 300 miles. No hard starts, no stalling, no idle drop, oil consumption is normal, and no CEL's..
I am quite perplexed ><

since you're going to do a compression test, i would wait to see what that tells you. if the engine is good, i'd suspect a bad/poor ground or loose/bad battery connection or failing battery.

j9fd3s, you sir have just solved my issue! (or so I believe!)

I was working on the rx8 earlier that day and had forgot to put the battery tie down on...
When I came to a stop at the light, the battery may have slid and pulled a connection looose temporarily or something along those lines. I did not think much of it at the time, but now that you mention it since I put that back on it has not occurred.
