So over the past couple of days, I've noticed a ticking/tapping sound from the engine bay. The sound is mostly heard when the car is idling. When I rev the motor, the sounds seems to go away, but when the car idles again the sound comes back. The tapping/ticking sound also seems to go on and off similar to how an a/c compressor cycles every now and then. At first, I thought it was the alternator, but now I'm not sure...

oil changed ~1500 miles ago with gtx 10-40

where nis it coming from?
is it coming from the coils section or the other sides?
