To those who got the catalytic converter heatshield fix

What does the insulation look like that they added in?

I was installing my catback today and noticed some shiny heat insulation over the cat pipe that looked like it had been added in sometime after final assembly. I was just wondering if someone could give me a general description so I could determine if that fix was done to my car. I have an 09/03 build I believe. Thanks!

the blanket is over the gas tanks not the cat. if you have not been in to have it done your car does not have it.

I was talking about the "hot center console" issue. I could have sworn I read about someone getting a fix from the dealer for that. I know there used to be a TSB but now nobody can find it.

As far as the gas tank thing; that's a recall isn't it?

btw: I didn't buy the car new. I bought it 3 months ago with 10k miles on it.
