So I went to start my car and it started really weakly and took a good 15-20 seconds to start and when it did it was idling kinda rough and if I let the revs drop right down it was on the verge of stalling. My exhaust was a little darker looking than normal and there was a burning smell under the hood. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I was thinking of replacing the spark plugs cause I read some other threads and that seemed to match my problems, I'm just hoping its nothing more serious than that. Thanks for any help.

 

Coil blasters, plug wires, spark plugs. Check and replace those.

Make sure to search next time.

 

clean the MAF too.
