Squirrel Damage

I had to leave my car outside for a week or more while a family member was in the hospital. I started having problems with the windshield washer and figured it needed fluid. turns out a Squirrel decided to live in my hood for a time. It pulled out some insulation but also chewed up the wire going to the pump. I have sucked up the leaves and stuff to find the bad connector.

My question, their is a block under the bosch air pump (least i believe is the pump for emissions start-up. What is the block under it because those wires are damaged as well. Pictures are attached to help.

Thanks
jtdwab

I can't help with what that might be, but will look at my 8 when I get a chance.

My 04 didn't get driven much by the previous owner- Only had 60k on it when I got it, comes out to about 7,500 miles a year. I had a little friend in the evaporator case and another had been in the air filter housing. I managed a European shop for 6 years and, for whatever reason, 986/987/996 Porsches attract every rodent within a 5 mile radius to the engine wiring harness on those and 7/10 times it's on the MAF circuit. Crazy little bastards.
