well its going to the dealership tomorrow. Ill report back with what im told. I have a really bad feeling about this one.

Don't give the dealer any hints. Just tell them how it's acting and see what hey come up with on their own. That's my advice anyway. Hopefully you haven't said to much to them already?

nah, I just told them i had some idle issues and random stalling and that i would like for them to check it out. I know whats fixed and whats not, so ill know if they try to bs me

well mazda says new engine. But i called customer service and explained the situation. I have a chance of getting this covered under warranty. Theres a new thread i just made in regards to that...

Hmmm....will bounce over there.............gonna guess it had to be seal then and it was coolant, but will go see.

If the MAF was unplugged, the engine likely ran very rich, which can flood the chambers and cause heavy smoke once everything is reconnected. Usually this clears after proper warm up and driving. A technician at Luxury Rides LLC once mentioned checking for oil fouling and confirming no excess fuel smell in the exhaust.
