Simple idle question
OK let me set the scene for all of you who view this thread. Lets say you're cruising down a hill going about 55-65 MPH, you pop it out of 6th into neutral to just coast down to the bottom. While coasting you notice that your idle is acting erratically and jumping from 1K RPM all the way down to almost shutting off the engine. This is what Ive been experiencing after I Zoom Zoom cleaned my engine. I havent felt a lose of power or anything abnormal besides the erratic idle at cruising speeds. When the car is at a full stop, the car will idle perfectly fine for days(exaggeration) sitting between 810 RPM-840 RPM(Used my timing light on it for like 3 minutes and it didnt go higher or lower). It seems like the faster I coast the more erratic the idle becomes. Just earlier today I was coasting down the same hill going about 80-85 MPH and the motor shut off!!! I pulled over and it started no problem. The idle seems to steady out once I go slower than 35-40MPH. After this whole ordeal this morning I whipped out my handy dandy code scanner and besides the usual o2 sensors(mid pipe) I have crankshaft position sensor A creating a code. Right now as I type this the car is sitting outside with the battery disconnected in an attempt for the ecu to reset itself. My question to you guys is, has this happened to anybody else here? Ive seen a bunch of idle related threads but nothing that fits my situation.
Sorry about the massively long OP lol

Ok i just finished resetting the ECU and the eccentric shaft sensor code is gone. Car is a tad smoother but idle problems still remain. I have to go through a few mor driving cycles before I can make a final decision but does whats happening sound familiar to anyone?
