today i tested teh problem i waited until between 7 and 8 to shift to 2nd and 3rd then the light came on.

flashing cel is a missfire. many reasons. hard light that wont go away is a stored code. see dealership.

What do you mean by "dangerously low" and how much oil did you add? Oil consumption depends to some degree on driving style, but a qt. every 2,500-3,000 miles seems to be about average based on the member postings on this forum.

If you added a full qt. or more to bring the level to the top mark, you should check it frequently in the future to see if it is really using that much or perhaps it was not filled to the top mark the last time oil was changed.

did the low oil light come on???? if not it was not low to the point of DANGER. btw you might want to read the owners manual. it is the glove box. lots of good stuff in it.

yeah my Check engine was flashing alot when i went down to the malibu canyon run last month. But about 3-4 weeks later, I was doing donuts and the CEL was on Solid its bin about a week and it's still not going away? Is this going to be stored now to the ECU.

is my warrenty still safe?

Yeah, you're in real trouble now. The dealer will pull the CEL code which is probably the big brother donut CEL. Your warranty is toast.

The DTC error codes will most likely be stored in ECU memory and the tech can retrieve them using their equipment.

^ I'm thinking it might be my Intake. I'm probably going to put back my stock intake on, take it to the dealer i guess?

Also When i go to the canyons and im at high rpms, the CEL light will start to flash on & off , goes away for like 6-7 secs then comes back on either flashing or stays on.

BTW, Whats a DTC code?
