Shifter misalignement
After getting the whole clutch assembly and most of the tranny replaced with OEM parts, I noticed while installing the AxialFlow short shifter that the position of the shifter 'holder' seems to be off centered.
I already swapped shifters many times and I never run in any kind of trouble posing the new shifter in. It fits easily and perfectly from the first try. Usually.
But this time I was little bit tricky to get it in since it's not centered and leaning towards the right.
I'm posting some picture to explain what I mean.
You'll notice that the shifter is leaning to the left when in neutral instead of being in the middle.
Is this normal or what? I don't remember it being that way before...
This causes the SS to be way too knotchy, so hard to pass into 3rd gear. It blocks halfway between neutral and 3rd and you need a second hard push to get it in.
I went back to stock shifter, it's smooth but still sometimes it's hard to get into 2nd or 3rd...

Mazda Dealer.
Should I mention that this is the second clutch I install in 3 months? First one broke after 1 months (pilot bearing) causing massive damage to the flywheel and input shaft and come synchros.
Now I just had the 2 clutch replaced and this is what I noticed.
I also believe I might have air in the lines since I have that the clutch isnt completely disengaging when I depress the pedal.
So can anyone advice? Is the shift well centered or really offset ?
