take a good look around your brake lines and be sure you did not drill into it.check the ground where you were working and see if there is any fliud(brake)around.now the question is did you disconnect the battery when you started(should have).it is normal for the system to be recalibrated if you undo the battery .before you drive off turn your wheels all the way to the right..then all the way to the left.. then turn the wheels straight.on your brakes they should work as normal before the battery was taken loose.check all around the area you did your work in and be sure everything is fused not to harm the electrical system.hope this helps!

I think you may need to get under the dash and see what wires you may have drilled into.

And/or check along the path of the wiring you did to see if any connectors got pulled or damaged wires.

Where did you tap into power? Direct to batt?

Sounds like the wheel speed sensor info from one of the wheels isn't available. I'd trace that wiring to see if a connector was pulled or a wire damaged.

if you disconnected the battery, you need to reset the steering. turn the key on, turn the wheel all the way left, then all the way right, then turn key off, you should be good

first u need to find out what code was set in the abs module. That would help alot. Alot of abs modules will not turn out the light until the code has been cleared. Try disconnecting you battery for 30 min to clear ecu memory. After you reconnect you will have to relearn the steering angle sensor (turn wheel all the way to the right then all the way to the left the at center. hopefully this helps.

thanx 4 da help so far. after trying all these things and stripping the harness behind the dash finding no damage or loose plugs i took the 8 to my dealer and got them 2 plug their pc in 2 c wassup. they seem 2 think the switch on the brake pump unit (Bosch) in the engine bay is faulty, and is a sealed unit so they haved 2 replace the whole unit under warranty, cost of Rands 25000.00/Dollars 2500.00. they say they will have the new unit on Mon or Tues. I asked if it was any thing i did to damage any thing after showing them everything i stripped and did, they said it was just coincidence... will keep u's posted.
