Read the thread in my signature and search. It is a common issue and has been discusses a thousand times.

You could also follow the troubleshooting guide in the factory service manual.

They got you half the info now it's time for you to help yourself. The manual is full of everything there is to know about the vehicle.

I'll give you a hint:

Troubleshooting section
OBD Drive Mode

Then follow the instructions on how to drive your car to reset everything.

Good luck figuring this out.
Once you do, you will be knowledgeable.

We don't tolerate that type of response, even if you feel justified in using it.

They are ACTUALLY helping, even if you aren't seeing it. You haven't provided much information to go on, so all they can do is point you to the official troubleshooting procedures. The amount of help you will get in life is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put in.

I never thought I would say this but I kind of feel for the OP

That link to the Workshop manual .. or I should say the way the information is served up is *****.

You need to view it in IE7 for the web pages to be served up correctly, or else you get all these extra tabs opening.

I don't know if it's the CSS or what but it's f'n crap trying to navigate thru that manual.

I use IE and hit F12 to get to developer mode and select IE7, that seems to render the manual correctly.

But other than that ... and everyone wonders why there're posts about Forum pleas and 98% ******* threads
Good grief

RX8Club Rules of Conduct:
4. Personal attacks against other forum members will not be tolerated, nor will any type of "trolling" for a fight. This includes political attacks, slurs, or sneering at any viewpoint or political party.
17. Do not start threads or submit posts on religion or politics in the Lounge area or anywhere else. Experience with the forum has proven that political or religious discussions inevitably become flamefests, which are prohibited (see the first rule above). So don't start them.
6. Be respectful. This is harder to define, but will be moderated. An example would be disrespecting RX-8 owners who chose an automatic transmission over a manual, and "sneering" at them or acting like they're idiots for the choice they made. If a moderator believes you are being purposefully disrespectful to a fellow member, you will be notified. Bashing for the sake of bashing will not be tolerated.
If you can't follow these rule, find a home elsewhere.
