So, i took off my rx-8 radio. Now when i put it back, radio and ac wont work. They work if i push front of the radio with my hand.. I've read that those 2 screws (rear with a rubber "diaper and side screw) affects in that does radio work or not? So what's the right way to adjust the rear screw which has a rubber "diaper" ? Does the side screw matter how tight it is there? when i have these both loose/very tight it doesnt work still.

 

Sounds like your faceplate is not connected properly. As for your questions about those two screws, I don't know why you would have touched either of them nor have I heard anything about them causing problems with radio operation.
