Hi all,

Well if your CEL is still on, this probably means that your car has another issue. Best thing to do is to have the code read and see what is the code.

If you want to make the CEL disappear you could disconnect the battery (I do not suggest this if you have no clue what the code is). That will reset everything. However, if you select to do this make sure your engine is warm. It is possible the next time you turn on the engine your car not to hold idle and stall. This will happen due to the fact that the computer is trying to relearn its fuel trims. You will have to drive the car 3-4 full driving cycles until everything gets back to normal. If your car still has an issue the CEL pretty soon will come back up.

Go to auto zone or advanced auto parts and tell them you want to get your codes read and then reset it. Do this for free...
