Angry Remote Entry, driver door

So this just happened this morning, pressed the unlock button and attempted to open my car door, but didn't work. I thought I didn't press it hard enough so I did again, still no luck. So I had to open with the key, now I sit in my car and click the unlock and it will unlock the passenger door, but not driver. I also pressed the unlock on the door panel itself and that doesn't work either... So what's the problem??

Also, anything I do sets the alarm off!! If I manually unlock the driver side door from the inside it goes off, if I click unlock from the inside, it goes off. If I click lock from the inside, it goes off... WTF???

A couple of things to check. First, make sure your trunk lid is securely shut. If it is not completely shut, that can disable the remote. Second, if you attempt to unlock the alarmed car, manually or with the remote, from the inside it will trigger the alarm. Normal.

if his alarm is going off it means the alarm was set which means the trunk was closed properly.

change the battery in your remote or grab your spare fob
