My remote didn't work so I put some new batteries and still does not work, bought a new one, did programming procedures, same thing, got another remote which is working in a RX8 like mine (friend's car) did programming, does not work in my car but it does work in my friend's... How can I fix this and what does it need to be replaced?

mine needs to be basically next to the door to open and i just changed my battery...
so basically i need the same info.
