This morning was fairly cold and at 8.30AM going to work the rear window defroster/defogger was very slow in removing condensation, leading to it being hard to see out the back. All of the other windows were defogged very quickly and also the wing mirrors. Has anyone had this issue and is there anything I can check?
Also, I did a bit of googling and there appears to be some sort of TSB out there: http://www.protegefaq.net/tsb/09-042-04.html. Is this valid to bring to a Mazda garage to try to get them to fix it for free? Alternatively does anyone have a link a Mazda headed one?

No they will not do warranty work for a TSB. We need more information on your vehicle, and did you check the wiring harness? does the defog light come on when you push the REAR defog button? Did you check the things in the TSB? Like the connections, and grid lines for damage?

You could get a free repair if you are still under the B to B warranty.

Got it serviced today, no issue with the defogger apparently. Must have just been used to summer weather defogging speed....cheers for the input!
