Hey guys, Im new to RX8s and new to talk forums so please bear with me here a bit. I searched some older posts here on the subject but didnt get a good enough answer. Im not expecting you guys to be able to say one thing or the other is definitely the answer but some educated quesses are very welcomed.
The coolant light comes on and goes off pretty ofte and after checking the resrve it is completely full. I then looked for leakage and nothing thereneither. The car seems to be riding great so Im at a loss here.. I should note that I bought the car yesterday a 2004 auto touring model. Today the check engine light came on at almost exactly 69,900 miles. That there Has me possibly not worried cause so many cars ive had had the engine light come one right before a major mile milestone. I heard some people say its a regular thing that happens because of some $40 sensor or something. Anynhelpmwould benso great

One other thing. Id like to hook up a amp and a single sub to the factory bose system what is the part i need to be able to run a amp with no rca jacks?

Search more on the coolant light. There are PLENTY of threads on the specific issue and the specific cause...

Run the CEL code and get back to us.

Check engine light code. Have it read and see what code shows. That's the beginning stage of the problem diagnosis.
