Port Flutter? Strange Engine Noise
Hey y'all,
I've had this noise coming from the engine since the day I bought it back in mid '09 ('07, 28000 mi.) The best way I can describe it is that it sounds like a topwater buzzbait (for you bass fishermen) or a fast click-clack type noise. It starts around 5K RPM's and goes away about 7K. I've read a few posts that mention port flutter, most say it sounds like a can of marbles, and that it is normal/okay. I've been told by the wife that I hear things totally differently than how they actually sound.:wallbash: So, port flutter or am I hearing something totally different? Any remedies? |
Water in the heater core.

And this is probably what you're describing.

If it is water in the heater core, is there a solution to fix it or just better to live with it?
