The fronts in the headlight housing is pretty tight fit, go back and check your connections, also check your fuse located in the driverside kick panel.

Which one is the fuse for the parking light in the driver side fuse box?

I apologize, rechecked and the fuses are in the engine bay behind the passenger side headlight(not in the driver side kick panel, as previously stated). Open that and you should see the 15 amp fuse. What bulb did you use? It should be the same as your map lights and the side door panel lights; both use 194 bulbs.

did you double check the bulbs after switching bulbs but before inserting them in to the headlights? I remember changing mine out and i damaged a bulb due to the tight fit trying to get it in to the headlight. Definitely check the fuse as well.

Did you check if the bulb was seated properly in its holder? Try swapping out another bulb ie: map light to check if its the bulb or another issue.

Bumping the thread, as I am having the same issue.

all tail lights and plate light are working.
Both of my front parking lights (the ones in headlight housing) stopped working at once.
Is there a separate fuse for the these front parking lights or could both of my bulbs have blown at the same time?
I do not see the fuse in the diagrams: Mazda Fuse Box Diagram: Mazda RX8 2010 Engine Compartment Fusebox Diagram

Any and all inputs would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry if i'm Just jumping in on this. But i also have the same problem but its only my driver side that's not working. Is there a ground wire close by the light that i could check to see if its the problem or could it be a fuse?? again the passenger side works just not the driver.

Check that they're not burnt out. Both of mine went out at close times to one another. You can also perform voltage drop and continuity tests to verify whether or not you have a problem in the circuit.

Not sure where the gound is, neither. You can check the wire if they have frayed. The way the taillights were installed pretty tight causing the wirea to be pulled.
