P0661 help

Hi, my 2004 mazda rx8 100k miles has a p0661 code.

I swapped the ''ssv solenoid valve'' with the ''air solenoid valve'' to see if the code would dissapear. The code stayed there.
So, it's probably not a solenoid malfunction.
What else could it be?
The dealer found there was no vacuum on the ssv actuator..
HOw do I repair this????

thank you

This is a strange question. The dealer found no vacuum on the ssv actuator, but had no idea how to proceed from there?

The dealer didn't offer any assistance with this?
If the dealer applied vacuum directly to the actuator and it's not holding vacuum, then the actuator needs replaced.
Only way for you to be certain is to test the actuator yourself with a vacuum pump.
Should hold ~10in.Mg for several seconds without rapidly bleeding.
