Well I was going about 35 when I was going to go through a yellow light well it was a 1 sec light so I stopped pretty quick well after that oil light popped on and didn't go away but still had oil pressure two ticks above half way. So pulled over asap checked oil half way up the stick still added some to be cautious. Turned the car back on light gone. So what happened? also I didn't see anything in the cars service records about oil pan recall replacement could this be the issue?

 

There was on the early 04'......what do you think...is your VIN in the range listed?

I think the sudden stop threw the oil forward and gave it a low oil false reading just wanted to ask everyone else's opinion

 

this is my guess.....it's happened to me during speedy cornering too :D

Obviously turning the car off and on reset the light...double check your oil level...should be allllllgood
