I'm not sure of the hoses he ordered but I would suggest researching your local machine shops. You could also order -10 AN braided line and fittings and make your own.
I believe rx8performance sells them as well.

accidentally used synthetic oil :/

i know this doesn't have to do with the thread but i have an 2007 rx8 with 90,000 miles and i accidentally put synthetic oil in it because i didn't know i wasn't supposed to. I used 5w 30 SAE. Would i be fine for 2,000 miles? i'm planning on changing the oil in 2,000 miles. Please get back to me thank you!

From: A Pacific Island.
Synthetic 5w30 will be fine.

Don't worry about it, I've used 0w30 synthetic since 2003.

There has actually been a recall on these lines. Check with your Mazda dealer whether your car has been in the shop for it. My RX still has the faulty cooler lines, and "they could burst eventually". How stupid it may sound, I refused the job to be carried out, because the dealer told me that they think some stuff might break, which would cost hundreds to thousands of bucks to fix, which I would have to pay for and not Mazda themselves. Well, it would surpass the value of my car (2500 bucks), so no thanks.
