No.. its not normal to have oil in your intake.
This usually occurs from over filling the oil or by not using a funnel to pour the oil into the neck (oil runs down the sidewalls of the neck and into the breather hose).

Worse case we've seen is that oil gets into your intake manifold and turns into a sludge, resulting in stuck valves.
Hopefully yours isn't that bad, but you need to clean it out.

Remove the accordion tube and clean it. Also spray the IAT and MAF with contact cleaner.
Check your intake box and filter and clean if needed.
Clean the throttle body flap and stick your finger past the throttle body flap to see if any oil got inside the black intake manifold extension.
I would even go as far as removing the breather tube and cleaning that out.

This is why many of us change our own oil and even buy catch-cans to prevent oil from getting into the intake!

I would suggest looking into an oil catch can. You don't have to spend much and it will prevent it from happening again.

aaaaight!! thanks for the info, i think that the only place that have oil its in the "accordion" tube, so i will clean this part first and check the other parts too.....and when i clean this tube i will check again this place in like 2 weeks, to see what happend (if its oil in that place again)

comes from pressure in the motor(hence why going turbo tends to put more oil into ur intake and y many ppl even NA ppl have catch cans you can get them cheap on like ebay hell even make ur own out of a beer bottle!!!! Yes I've seen it on here somewhere!

i have a simlar issue but there is quite a lot of oil in the acordian pipe thing its all the way through to the throttle body.

car also has symptoms of random missfire, some smoking, wont idle steady fuluxuates between 750 and 500rpm. sometime will idele for 10 mins then die other times dies as soon as starts.

i just bought this car its had an engine change, new heavy duty starter, new coils, new plugs, new cat.

above 1500rpms drives like a dream no issues at all put it on my autocom got an error of missfire cylindar 1 (yes ok if u say so) coolent temp high intermittent

now im in the United Kingdom so cant run this car on the roads without MOT and TAX car need to be MOT'd but cant do that until the car will idle on its own for an extended period and produce low emissions.

can anyone help with all of this please.

thank you in advance

ok thanks i tried the dsc reset as well for the idle issue and it worked got the car to idle a little sloppy but it did idle after it got warm there was steam coming out of the front right corner near the head light of the car and the front wing and frame was really hot cant see where it is coming from without removing the fuse box and air box any ideas what i am going to find when i get in there ? also the battery dont seam to be holding charge i hooked up my heave duty with jump leads and it ran that dead whilst idleing so im guessing i need a new alternator too.

found the steam now this care came out of a garage that apparently did all the work needed on it (my ***) the hose from the coolent tank to the top of the radiotor the hose connects to a small plastic nipple where the coolant returns to the expansion tank the nipple was snapped of and wasnt even in the hose so it had been removed and left hence steam out of radiator at front of engine bay.

fabulous new radiator it is

now tested the alternator only getting 9-10 volts when idling and seams to be dropping so im guessing alternator is sha**ed found a used 1 for £40 may try recondition it.

now i have a feeling this car has never seen seafoam or simlar does seafoam make a big differance if it does ill have some imported.
