Had to repost this
So my car heated up the other day. Not to the point where it started shaking or doing strange noises.
i saw that the temperature rised, and i automatically stopped and turned off the car. I didn't have anti-freeze at hand, so i poured water.
The next day my car didn't turn on. Later i see that the car was leaking and it looked like was oil with water

 

I answered this once, did you not like my answer?

I still have the same response.

 

Coolant seals unsandwhiched, time for a new motor.

Yeah, your only hope is that it is oil coming from broken/busted/rusted oil lines and separately coolant coming from water hoses.

Coming together from a single failure can only be a cracked or warped block, and since the block carries the water and oil through internal passages, these would then mingle... warping a housing from overheating isn't an unheard of result of overheating.

Yeah right now, after work, I'll take a look at those hoses and oil lines.

Overheated, new motor period.
OE temp gauge only tell u when do u need to get a new motor.
If the coolant is gone, then means you've got leak somewhere, fix that too.

 

This isn't quite accurate. If nothing else you aren't recognizing that a warped housing would create a gap in the cooling jacket running through the motor as well as in the oil passages. They are likely the same source.

It is also possible for an overheat to not immediately fry the motor, even with the needle moving.

But yes, once it moves, the temp it is seeing is usually fatal. Usually. Not always.

 

Same thing happened to me with my FC. I will attach a pic of what may have happened to you. But I had my coolant getting pushed in my overflow due to it happening on my compression side. See pic. Very common, and probably your situation. NEW MOTOR!
