No horn honk or door lights

I did do a search. When I use my key fob to lock/unlock my 8, when the interior lights come on, the lights on the bottom of the doors have stopped lighting up and when I lock it, I don't get the horn honk. It still locks and unlocks and the exterior lights flash. The overhead lights still work as well, but the lights on the doors do not light up. They are new LEDs and were working fine till about a week or so ago. The issue started, the once it all worked fine, then it hasn't again. I've checked all of the interior fuses and made sure the trunk is closed, the trunk light works fine. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Check your hood latch, if a door is open you get this problem lights but no horn. The hood has a switch in the latch that monitors if it is closed or not.

I've made sure that the hood, trunk and doors are all good. I have no idea where the ground would be or why it would all of a sudden go bad. Any ideas where the ground for that would be located? Inside one of the doors maybe?

Have you actually disassembled your latch mechanism and ensured the switch is operating properly? It will not give you a door adjar light and if the switch goes bad then that's your problem. Ensuring the hood is closed isn't good enough, if your horn itself works when you manually press the steering wheel then there is no wiring problem. And your problem is either one of the sensors of the PCM.

Horn works fine when I press the wheel button or the panic button.

Then its not a wiring issue, either bad sensor or PCM issue.
