the noise only appered after i took off the uim (only the top part) to re install a new oem fuel line with the fuel line adapter. im trying to figure how to post a vid. im thinking maby one of the orange gaskets didnt get seated right or pinched?

 

so i uploaded a vid i took with my phone this morning to you tube but its hard to hear the sound im trying to describe. you can faintly hear it at the end.

i cant figure out how to put the video here. if i do i will post it

I know, you don't strike me as the camping type. I was referring to 200, he is quite the outdoorsman and enjoys doing so with lot sof guns an Vaseline

 

so i didnt want to start a new thread but im still getting a wierd noise. it sounds like a faint turboish sound. it only happens under load and when i first step on the gas. i started when i removed my uim. i took out the fuel line adapter to rule it out (not that i thought it was the issue) took off the uim again to check gaskets, cleaned tb, and checked all vac lines. everything looks good but i still cant find the cause of this noise. i noticed at certain rpms (under load) with the right amount of throttle the noise will stay constant. ???? any ideas

 

on top of not finding this strange noise, now i need an ac compressor clutch. i recharged the system but i never use the ac and the clutch froze up and destroyed the belt.

 

have any of you guys heard of filling the intake with smoke to check for leaks? my brother was telling me about it last week. i might check into this. thoughts?
