Hi, Just bought used 04 RX8 with 25k miles on it about 4 days ago and just realize it has Greddy muffler, It looks good in the car but I have AT Trans so it sound bit crappy unless I use man mode it gives better sound, I know it looks good in the car but is it safe for my car I mean I never had a Greddy muffler before and don't know when it was installed, Anybody have an advice?

 

Sounds like the previous owner installed an aftermarket catback exhaust.
My aftermarket exhaust setup isn't Greddy, but many people on this forum use them.
And yes, these are perfectly safe for your car. For some people, the exhaust and intake are the first things upgraded in an attempt to gain a little HP (and I do mean a little).

 

you're fine. Greddy's sound nice. make sure you rev it up. What safety concerns do you have?
