New Engine from Japan
So i recently took the 8 to the dealer for white smoke coming out of my exhaust with a CEL on top of that issue. got a call back the next day saying they didnt see any white smoke and the CEL was triggered by a starter problem, said something about a radio signal interference...weird!! i was not able to pick the car up til 2 days later so the next morning i called and asked them to do this Fuel Induction Service i seen a coupon for, 3 hours later i get a surprising phone call... "after your induction service your rx8 kept stalling and just ran like crap, so we have an engine ordered for you and a rental here as well. I go up to the Dealer that day to get my rental and i ask their service guy is there anything i should prepare for while im waiting for the engine? he said nope, its all covered by mazda!! just one thing is please be patient with us because the engine is coming from Japan and with all the issues they're having there there will be a delay. Anyone have any idea of what i need to prepare for even though the dealer said theres nothing to prepare for? ive searched on what i should change along with a new engine and the top 6 were Oil Metering Lines, Oil Injectors, plugs wires coils and a Clutch, but that was from someone who was getting a reman engine. anyone have any advise? NEW vs Reman?? will they cover the critical parts as well or do i have to ask them which may lead to them charging me for that stuff. thanks for any info in advance.

Are you in the US? If so, ask your Mazda tech why they can't get an engine from the facility in VA where Mazda remans them. It is unlikely they will give you a Series II engine unless the car is a SII.
