my 2005 rx-8 has been haven hot start problems, (44,000 mi.) before this i had 2 rx-7s, my whife got this auto. most any car could take me off the line. no power until 5,000rpm, i just thought it was an auto & that was that. it was due for coils ,wire& plugs, so igot all that & a new batt. ( oh yea the hot start has been going on for about a good month or so. after all i read i called the# in the manual , gave them the vin # & he said no problem. ( iam the third owner). so i called the dealer & told him i need a compression check. no problem, if it passes i pay, if it ,dont i dont pay good deal. what iam asken is most of u guys think its low compression ?( and the starter spins real good!!!) iam nervis as hell ! thanks for any pice of mind.
