New Alternator?
Looking for a good brand that makes alternators. I don't prefer refurbished ones, because I've heard bad stories, but where would be a good place to pick one up?
OEM? Mazmart has one here: http://www.partswebsite.com/mazmart/...20005&fl_id=37
There is nothing wrong with Refurbish one. As long as it's done properly.
Denso, Remy both are good choices, Denso usually replaces everything, including bearing, everything is greased/installed properly. no issues.
Remy used to reman their stuff in Mexico, Alternator, Starters, etc, and those sucks *****, I opened couple of those Reman in Mexico starters I was like OMG, the rubber seal in the middle broke the moment I opened it cuz it was installed improperly, the grease was all over the place and it looks like some cheap *** stuff. but I think around mid/late 2014, they moved their reman plant back into US, quality was MUCH better, comparable to Denso's stuff, and they are usually cheaper than Denso's offerings. I starting to use their Reman in USA stuff. I haven't seen a Reman in Mexico for a while.
BTW, AAP's reman stuff are ALL made by Remy now, uses the same part number, so just get it from AAP (with coupons) and u will get Remy's stuff.
AAP used to use Worldwide industry stuff and it was completely garbage, now things are much better.
