Anyone here had their alternator replaced and is there such a thing as a second rate alternator the dealer may have used to replace my old one?

Just got mine done. Still under warranty, 19Kmiles, 05 MT, bone stock under the hood. Had problems with the DSC/TSC light coming on, battery light comes on while car was in 2nd, 4th, and 5th gear, and check engine light was on.

It's working fine. No more indicator lights.

Dealer gave a crappy mitusbitshi for a couple of days.
