You get a code? P0402 or something like that? Not the computer relearning FT in my experience but a coil issue. Car is in OL at those RPM anyway.
|
I should also mention that you should remember to disable (completely) the DSC when dynoing.
3 drive cycles is more than enough to relearn ft. As for cleaning the maf, if you know what you are doing, you should be fine, but if you did screw something up, I dont think it would throw a misfire code. As for plugs, I dont see the having incorrect heats being part of a misfire issue. But you should use (or at least read up on) the standard heats for NA and one step colder on leading and trailing for turbo. |
car is na. just thought it was strange thatr the plugs i took out were wrong.
i have no cell at the moment- batt dis connect i dont have dsc my car is just running weird at 6-7k and 7-8k after the work annd i double checked everything. i hope its just the computer relearnig but i wanted opioins thhanks |

double checked mas and o ring. no issue.
i might just being crazy, but dont want to f up my car please advise thanks jesse ps if a mod checks this please deleate my half ass thread, but not this one |
Well, the coils will help
And you should get good AFR data from the dyno Things will be clearer |
If you had a leak in the intake you would be able to hear it, or maybe not with the K&N intake. I wonder if its your coils? I didn't see you say you replaced them with the wires and plugs? That should throw a misfire cel though.
|
no cel yet, but waiting for it-midpipe. coils should be in today but i didnt have this problem before doing the work? no cobb. im still confused about the wrong plugs in my car, mazda put them in right before i got it, i checked with the dealer on this. im gonna put new coils in as soon as i get them and hope that helps but i didnt have this issue before. im really worrier about the plugs i took out, should i be? it ran fine
|
maybe you should worry about the plugs they gave you in replacment of them? maybe the ones you took out were the correct plugs...
