need help car won't start

hello i have had my car for awhile now and it is still under warranty.
i drove my car home one day and winter hit hard so i parked it and haven't drove it in 2 months i went to start it and it wouldn't turn over so i checked the battery and it is good has a good charge and just to be sure i put a charger on it and it is good the car just wouldn't turn over. to me and my father when we try and start it, it sounds like it isn't getting any spark or fuel we can't figure it out my problem is that the closest dealer is 3 hours away and i can't afford to have it towed 250 miles any help would be apprcieated thank you.

Question Clarity......

"....wouldn't turn over"

or

"starter cranks it over, but it won't start up"

....two very different problems, which is it?

if it is flooded... if you put your foot on the gas its a fuel cut-off its kind of an "anti" flood thing... most people do not know about it i would try it just incase it is that though it sounds like a starter issue or an ignition problem its hard to tell since your post is fairly vague...anyway good luck!

If your car is still under warranty, Mazda Emergency Roadservice will tow your car for free. You should have the service card in your car, or call your dealer and he will help you.

How do you know it's not flooded? Your statement confuses us even more. When you say "...it wont turn over...) do you mean the starter does not operate as in Whir, Whir, Whir when you try to start the car? If that's the case, your battery may just be discharged to the point where it will not operate the starter. Fully charge the battery and try starting the car.

If the starter operates and the engine cranks (i.e., turns over) but does not start, your best bet at this point is to have it looked at by a dealer as you plan to do.

when the starter turn and the car will not start that is usually flooded.

he said the whir thing but engine won't start ?his problem is what we all know is that you cannot leave this car alone with the battery connected for any long(two weeks or more)period of time because they mostly die or fall so low it won't start.if he had a voltage meter or gauge his question would be answered. also lease take the time to know what you have.an upgraded battery(optima red top) would be waiting on you to get back from where ever you have been.the factory battery sucks big time.hope you get your car runnig soon the weather about to break real soon!!good luck!

Hey everyone thanks again for all your help and input have gotten my car back from mazda and the problem was the my car was origanlly from a warm weather area (arizona) and up here in wyoming for about 3 months in the negative degrees temp out and they told me that my starter wasn't up to cranking the car at -15 out and what happened was that it didn't have enough juice to start it so it caused the car to burn out the spark plugs so mazda replaced the starter and battery and plugs to a better and heavier duty kind now it starts great and runs awsome man i love driving this thing well thanks again
