need help again
ok after i deflood my car, my car dont idle at the 1rpm anymore, its like 3/4 to the 1rpm. my battier die during the process so had to jump it, so could it be the battier that is low or something? it feels like the car is gonna die or it feels weak at the 3/4 rpm to the 1rpm

Boyyo, everytime I have disconnected my battery my car acts very crazy, it won't idle well and dies often when it does idle it does so at 700RPM. I hate it running this way but give it 2 days and roughly 100 miles and it will straighten out, I have been told that it is the computer relearning. It will be okay though. I think there is a process of driving patterns to help it learn quicker but I have never gotten them to work for me.

Disconnecting the battery on any car (not just the RX-8) clears the stored fuel trim data among other "learned" behaviors. Over time these will be re-learned and the idle will smooth out.
The difference is more noticable on rotaries than on piston engines
If you want it gone "now!", there is actually a set of specific driving conditions that the ECU is looking for to 'lock in' each parameter. These are all normally hit during normal driving, but some of them require the ECU to see them in more than 1 driving "Session". So go out and drive all over the place, stopping occasionally and turning off the car, pull the key out, start it back up and keep going. You can get everything relearned within a few hours.
The actual parameters were posted somewhere here at some point in the past, but I have no idea where, or what terms to use to search for it.
