Need Help!!

hey guys, so i have a problem. and its kind of scaring me because i dont want something bad to happen to my car. i installed an agency power pulley and i have been getting the FLASHING CEL. anyways, before you say SEARCH!!, i have. and i even did the 20 brake thing within 8 seconds but it doesn't seem to have worked.
i have thought about it and i think the reason why it is throwing a flashing cel is because when i did the pulley installation, i took off the ring looking thing behind the 2 stock pulleys. (the ring looking thing that i am talking about is on the first page http://www.finishlineperformance.co...030-05-1544.pdf ) and i think maybe i have put it back the wrong way. would this be the reason why it is throwing a flahsing cel??
thanks,
peter

you put the crank angle plate the wrong way, there is a solid part which go between the yellow mark and the red mark on your stock crank pully.
just try to line it back, up and you will be fine.

you're link is messed up

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...30-05-1544.pdf

that's the trigger wheel, there was no need for you to mess with it

it only goes on two ways, but I doubt you messed it up because the wrong way probably won't run

other people have had the flashing CEL after installing this pulley, you need to reset the PCM and the eccentric shaft profile memory

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...30-05-1544.pdf

try searching

I had the same problem with the flashing CEL after the AP pulley install.

You have to disconnect the battery, wait 5 minutes, Reconnect it and turn the car to the on position.
Then, rapidly step on the brake peddle 20 times in an 8 second time period. Just keep pumping away (it doesn't matter if it takes 145 pumps to make it work. Just fit 20 pumps in an 8second span) until you see the oil gauge sweep back and forth. Start the car.
