My misfire story

So the other day my car stalled at a stop sign, wouldnt restart. I pushed the car out of the intersection, got in and it started. Ran fine for a few days. A few days later same thing, stalled. This time when I restarted the car it was hell fire and brimstone. the car was shaking and missing. I sat there for a few cause some people say once their cars warmed up it went away.. I looked under the car and the Cat was glowing red around the o2 sensor. Figured I had a clogged cat. Towed the car to my house and installed my Agency Power mid pipe and the car ran fine. A few days later same thing, misfire. So I towed the car to the dealer. Here is the dealers findings:

Battery was dead (6 months old I dont think it was dead.) charged started sounds like on one rotor found maf unplugged plugged back in. check for codes maf/iat codes missfire codes. cleared started check ifnition 3 coils failed. reccommend all 4 coils and plugs check compression ok.

the wanted like $600 to fix. I said no thanks. So this week I will be ordering a BHR ignition.

Here is my question. Since the cat was glowing does that mean it is clogged for sure or could it have been glowing for the other reasons?

I hate to ask the obvious, but if YOU REMOVED the convertor, and its sitting on your garage floor somewhere, can't you just pick it up and look in it to see if its clogged or not?

BC.

I installed bhr ignition and installed new plugs. but now the car wont start wont crank, nothing. no beeping the windows wont roll down no radio, nothing. I hooked up the jumper cables to the wifes mpv and nothing. The battery is about 6 months old (red top). I checked all the battery connections and they look good.

Could the dealer have unhooked something that I need to hook back up?

Oh the Security Indicator Light (red car with key inside) is on. The owners manual states:

If the engine doesn’t start with the correct
ignition key, and the security indicator
light keeps illuminating or flashing, the
system may have a malfunction.

Any ideas?

That ground wouldnt affect the power inside the car would it? The only thing that happens is i get the red car with key light and I can hear thr fuel pump. nothing else... Could it be a fuse?
