NY My lights won't shut off

I have a 2004
Everything stock except floor lights and puddle lights, both diy with detailed instructions
seriously, kudos to rx8 club
anyways one night i was driving and my dome lights just turned on along with my puddle and floor lights
None of the fuses on the drivers side are blown and the car still locks.
usually when i closed the door, the light dims a bit and when i opened it again, it gets brighter.
this part is still responsive.
relays? another fuse?
it's awfully cold outside and i do street parking. I'd rather be a man on a mission vs checking everything first so forums it is!
any ideas?

i would think that if you blew a fuse they wouldn't come on at all.

my dome lights randomly came on, off on, off, durring an autox run and it was because the passager i had the previous run didnt close the door all the way and when i was turning it was opening the door enough to un-press the switch in the door frame to turn the lights on (cause the door was open).

i would make sure your doors are closed all the way and that the switch isnt broken or something.

hope that helps or some one gives you better advice.
