So a little while ago I started my car while cold, and multiple lights lit up on the dash: ABS, Brake (even when handbrake off), Traction Control, Battery, and Power Steering (not just the light, but the steering was significantly heavier). Upon restarting the car, the problem went away. A few weeks later (tonight), the issue came back. I restarted my car and it went away again, but the next time I started my car cold, it happened again. Eventually this time, after a couple restarts it went away and I drove home. I have read similar threads but none of which matched the same lights. I am exploring potential power steering failure threads, but the other lights all coming on at the same time concerned me.

Any ideas?

Check battery connectors, then battery. If battery is fine, have them check alternator. Most auto parts stores will check on car for free. Likely the voltage dove at start and pissed off all the electronics. This can cause damage if it is repeated often enough.

Sure enough it was the alternator. The car is running completely off the battery.
