you have to cut out part of the dash to make it fit. its instructed in the manual double check and if you dont have one check the metra website its really hard if not impossible to get it in there

Cutting the dash isn't neccessary. Just keep pushing the wires back, and try putting the box back and to the right so that it is in the space right beside/behind the glovebox.

not so sure how the metra kit is but I have the Kenatech(Corksport) kit.

but no, u dont have to cut anything, move your wires to the side, push it into somewhere near the glove box, there is plenty of room there.

Thumbs down I'm having problems getting a double din stereo in my Metra Kit 95-7510/95-7510HG

Hi,

I'm also having problems getting a double din stereo in my Metra Kit 95-7510/95-7510HG

How did you get yours in. Did you have to cut the Metra kit to get it in?

Please let me know, I've had to return 2 stereos that I thought would fit.

Thanks,
Bmcc

i got a kenwood avic d-3 in there...theres definitely not plenty of room. I had to cut the bottom piece out above that ashtray that takes up a lot of the space. It looks like a little shelf in there. Without taking that out, theres no way all that crap would fit in there on mine. That freed up some more space. I know the metra box has those short wires, which only allows to you put the box right behind the ac/fan unit (where that dash piece is I cut out)....also make sure to be gentle or you'll end up pulling the wires out from either the ac/fan unit, or the metra box like I did. Try to push everything down behind the ashtray for the metra unit, and keep the double din wires up high.
