So I just bought used and installed the MS sport dual muffler exhaust and my driverside pipe sticks out about half an inch farther than the passenger side ... its bothering the S**** out of me...

I am thinking it may be one of the exhaust hangers which I was able to put on only 80% of the way (most rear one, driverside) However, that should only cause it to be offcenter in the exhaust shroud, not stick out farther

ALSO when on batter power, my interior lights flicker (not cranking, no key in ignition, just open door).... anyone else experience this? Flickering does not occur with the car on

Double check the exhaust install and conditions.
Check your battery and alternator.

 

For the exhaust... try adjusting it at the rear of the cat pipe (assuming you don't have a midpipe and still have those spring bolt things. Just get down there and loosen it up and try to adjust it a bit.

As for the lights... do you have interior LED lights? I do and they flicker a bit when on battery power only in the same conditions you have. . . but incondesant bulbs shouldn't do that.

 

Lights issue went away ....

with the exhaust, it is a bit better, but still mismatched a bit, I think the hangers are shaking into place as I drive. I could only get one of the hangers about 90% on, and that is on the problem side, will go to a shop to try to get it to line up .... atm not worried cause it is hanging on 5 total hangers
