MAF plug wires too tight?

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the image below is a picture of the Mass Airflow Sensor. The plug-type connector and wires coming from it are very tight. Almost to the point in which it feels like they have constant tension on them, especially the red wire at the top. I may just be paranoid here but I was hoping someone else who reads this could check under their hood and feel to see if they too have very tight wires here.

^+1! I do not understand your concern. So what if the wires are tight? I prefer my wires being tight rather than loose)

The wire is really tight and the concern being with engine movements and normal driving it seems like the wire could be pulled from the plug body and cause a problem?

Thanks for checking. I just wanted to make sure it was like that from the factory and not something I did when replacing my plugs, wires and coils or installing the intake.

Please take an automotive class and let the mechanics work on your car.

If I let someone else work on my car every time I needed something done I wouldn't learn anything now would I?

Now, go check under your RX-8's hood and feel the tension on the pictured wires and compare it to any other connector's wires under the hood and you should see why I asked the question in the first place. All the other connections have a small amount of wiggle room.

I just cleaned my MAF this past weekend and the wire to the connector is not overly tight. No real slack but no adverse strain either. '05 here.

edit: oh, now I see your picture. As indicated that's the drive-by-wire throttle connector, not the MAF (which is on the intake tube). But regardless, I think what you mean is that the cable needs some additional strain relief. Just use a tie-wrap if you're that concerned.
