M/T Starter ground wire question

Were does the 8gauage ground wire connect to that come from the starter.?

There's only 2 wires that connect to the starter, the cable from the battery and the solenoid wire.

Starter grounds to the engine block.
The only wires that attach to the starter are the main positive feed, and the trigger for the solenoid.

Thanks I kinda figured that but I'm not able to remember the exact location on we're it needs to be placed at.

Would the ground stop the starter from triggering when I turn the key. And is the ground wire the one that goes from that same piece of the harness to the center iron near the bottom?
