I just got new tires and TPMS and the light comes on after you drive it like 20 miles or so. Does anyone else have this problem??

I remember there is a reset procedure, if you search you should find it easily.

RTFM. the sensors will sense a slight difference in pressure whether it is lower or higher than the recommended tire pressure.

Is yours an 08 RX8 because I just got a recall notice for the TPMS in that model year.

Did you check the pressure in your tires to make sure they are correct? The tire guy could have screwed up.

He could have screwed up in two different ways:

He might have 1 tire set to a lower pressure than the other three.
Or,
He might have damaged 1 or more of your sensors.

The only way you are going to find out which one of these two possibilities is the actuality, you will need to check your tire pressures.

If all your tire pressures are perfect, then I would suspect the tire jockey damaged the sensors.

BC.

It happened to mine once. I bought a replacement tire and had it installed by a tire shop and when it's said and done, i went home and my tpms light came on and i checked it out and found that the sensor is leaking air on the sides of it, went back and found out that the sensor is not properly screwed and not tight. Problem solved after that fix.
